Luxury Hotels in Italy – Top 5 Hotels and Resorts!

There are many luxury hotels in Italy, many of which blend in with the country’s spectacular countryside, magnificent old towns, and overall scenery. Many fabulous hotels are situated in touristy areas, such as Milan, Rome, Florence and Venice, while more can be found all over, from the snowy Alps, to the tranquil countryside, to tinier towns.

La Perla

Tucked away in the enchanting Alpine village of Corvora is the luxurious La Perla resort. Set in the snowy Alps, this hotel offers plenty of winter activities and beautiful natural surroundings, with the comforts of an inviting, warm, luxury hotel.

Each of the hotel’s 52 guest rooms and suites are furnished with rich, plush materials, featuring wooden interiors. There is also an indoor-outdoor pool, a spa, and more facilities on site.

Masseria Torre Maizza

The Masseria Torre Maizza is a luxurious hotel, housed in a 15th century building nearby the coastal area in Puglia, Italy. This first-class getaway offers a unique Italian countryside experience, surrounded by 100 hectares of olive groves and orchards and just 500 metres away from the beach.

The hotel has just 28 rooms, all of which are spacious and tastefully furnished with top-notch amenities. The hotel consists of a saltwater swimming pool, a nine-hole golf course, the Aveda spa and a selection of other luxuries.

JK Place

Set in the heart of downtown Florence is the intimate, luxurious JK Place, close to plenty of attractions, dining, and leisure activities. Much like a large mansion, this magnificent boutique hotel has just 20 rooms, roomy sitting areas, and a plethora of antiques and art.

Unlike many old-fashioned hotels in Florence, the JK Place takes on a rather modern, posh design with hints of traditional design. The rooms are roomy and classy, much like a home away from home.

Hotel Santa Caterina

Snuggled in the Oceanside cliffs of Amalfi, surrounded by lush greenery and overlooking the blue ocean is the Hotel Santa Caterina. This charming luxury hotel is of classic, traditional style mixed with absolute elegance.

Housing 70 beautifully furnished guest rooms, the hotel is extraordinarily scenic from all angles. The hotel also offers a terrace restaurant, a salt-water swimming pool, and a one-of-a-kind Italian experience.

St. Regis Grand

Stepping into the St. Regis Grand in Rome is like a journey into history. The notable hotel – renowned as one of the finest in Rome – has lots of colour, style and glamour. Situated in the heart of the city, the hotel is within walking distance to many sites and attractions.

The hotel houses 161 rooms, all of which feature plush materials and luxurious comfort. The hotel also houses the KamiSpa & Fitness centre, a “Private Diplomatic Entrance”, a business centre, and a fine dining restaurant.

Summary

Many of the top luxury hotels in Italy consist of quiet boutique hotels situated on the outskirts of town. There are, of course, many first-class accommodations in the major cities, giving visitors a wide selection of accommodations, from quiet getaways to vibrant hotels.
