Should I join the army to get away?
I’m 22 and work for kitchen design company. I’ve been in and out of different jobs over the past few years and am pretty sick and tired of my life right now. I have no friends, haven’t had a girl in over a year, and feel that life going no where for me.
I’ve been thinking about joining the army for a long time now just to get away from it all and start a new life and make some mates. I know it’s tough but I feel I can do it.
It’s not my ideal career choice, but just seems the only way to break away and start again. Do you think this is a wise choice?
I feel your pain. Life seems like it is going nowhere and you can’t seem to pick yourself up. The Army seems like a way to just start life over. I think it is a great Idea if you are willing to serve your country. If you can commit to four years in the military go for it. If you have been thinking about it for awhile what is holding you back… walk into the nearest recruiters office today. Also walk into the Navy, Air Force, and Marines office. See who fits best with your goals. I hope the best for you, and pray the God gives you peace with you decision, and unspeakable Joy. The Army can’t do that for you you only Christ can!
