I assume you mean design a machine/apparatus that can give you fresh water. You need a large tub and a small tub, sticks, tin foil, and a plastic bag.
Place the small tub inside the larger tub and fill the small tub with ocean water. Then using your tin foil make a cone shaped a little smaller than the larger tub, suspend the foil with the point up with your sticks. Place the plastic bag over the whole thing and wait.
Evaporation will occur with the seawater, and as the water rises it will collect on the underside of the tin foil and run down the underside, dripping into the larger tub. The salt and impurities in the ocean water will stay in the small tub, while the water will collect in the large tub for you to drink.
