Design History
how will art & design ans history help me?
i am thinking of taking art & design and history as my options, i want to be a primary school teacher, is this the right decision.
Anyone who desires to teach art in an acredited school setting had better be prepared with a background in a core subject, such as history, reading, math and science.
To be a primary school teacher, you first major will have to be in EDUCATION, not art. Remember, after college, you primary concern will be to get a job. A school is going to be less likely to hire a teacher that specializes in an elective type subject and more likely to hire one with a solid background in core subjects.
