Can anyone plz give me gud design ideas to make a high school project file on disaster management?
plz giv any design ideas like spiral binding the sheets, usin hand-made paper or sumthin ……it will be about 10-12 pages… and these are also being included: preface,contents, acknowledgement, and conclusion [ 1 page each] …. so the body of the project will be about 6 pages. Thank U.
Start with defining what a disaster is and then tell about the 2 types of disasters Natural- floods, earthquakes, Tsunamis etc and man-made- Fire, War, etc.You can illustrate these with pictures from web. Then write about preventive measures separately for man made and natural disasters. After that provide useful information like Disaster Management Department Numbers, Fire Station, Ambulances Numbers Customer Cells to report Disasters etc.
You can use Chart Papers with illustrations Cut and pasted from News Papers and magazines. Or else you can make a PPT presentation if your school allows . Actually I made my students do it as a PPT presentation with many good pictures from net as illustrations. It became a huge success. You can even incorporate some Case studies- give information about any disaster and how it was controlled by the government in that country. That would make your presentation more interesting.
