Design Kitchen Backsplashes
Is there an easy way to remove tile accents from a kitchen backsplash?
I have these pink rectangular accent tiles that go through the middle of the white tile backsplash in my kitchen. I would like to just remove the pink accent tiles and put in a different color or design. Is that do able without damaging the tiles above and below the pink ones?
Not to hard to do, but care must be taken of course. Score or dig out the grout top and bottom of the tile to be taken out. This actually relieves any pressure that you put on the field tile when hammering and chiseling out the un wanted tile.. Extreme care must be taken as not to go all the way through the dry wall so the angle of the hammer, chisel or putty knife or screw driver is important.
