Are these shoes good for Volleyball?
I’m a complete newbie to volleyball, I’ve only been to 3 clinics hosted by the school but they really want me to try out. (They lost 7 varsity seniors and I’m 6’2″). I went out shopping today for things like kneepads, a ball, a bag, and shoes. I wasn’t quite sure as to what shoes I should get. After some research on my iPhone I came across that Asics and Mizunos were best. Now, they didn’t carry Mizunos and the only Asics they carried were Gel-game 2 and some other one. The one that was listed as a good one online (Rocket somethingrather) they did not have. So, I bought the game 2. The people assured me it would be good for volleyball. But, before I rip the tags off I’m just wondering if these shoes are actually quality volleyball shoes? They’re originally designed to be tennis shoes.
Yes! They are good for volleyball because we use those! Most of any other shoes are VERY bad choices! I should know because i am a Volleyball player! One of my teammates wore regular shoes slipped and busted their butt almost every ball they went after!!
