Design Studio Chicago
Going to college for dance???? In the Chicago land area! PLEASE HELP?
I’ve been living in California going to college for interior design… but I’m not happy, and i want to spend my life doing something I love! not something I’m doing just to make a lot of money…
Can ANYONE give me colleges they know of or seaches for colleges that have a dance program in Chicago, or the south suburbs. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I want to open a studio, so anyone who works at a studio or owns one.. if they could tell me how they got started!
I’m originally from Chicago and its a million times better than cali… which im not a fan of at all. I’m moving home when my husband leaves for iraq
Umm, don’t mean to discourage you at all but um, well have you been to Chicago? Coming from California you would probably think it’s kind of a sihthole. Especially the south suburbs. But Columbia College seems to be the primary arts college in the Illinois area. You would probably find the students very interesting with the same passions as you. Columbia offers all kinds of arts such as music and art and dance and stuff. Good Luck!
Oh, ya I could see that. I’m from the sticks in northern IL and now living near Joliet and Chicago just seems kind of scary and a concrete jungle. But I have been to Southern California briefly and it was kinda sucky, the countryside was rocky and mountainous and not what I’m used to.
