How to gain access to design view in microsoft access?
I disabled startup options with shift but it still won’t let me click on design view. The icon is shaded dark. How can I edit forms?
It sounds like you might have an mde file. Is the extension mde or mdb? If mde, then it means it is in a compiled state and you cannot make design changes to it.
There are tools out there that claim to be able to convert back to an mdb, but I can’t vouch for them, as I haven’t had the need to use them.
