Design Wedding Ring Setting
My HTB bought a wedding set but i was thinking of a differnet band is that ok to not use the wb from the set?
He bought a gorguous enganement ring it was a snowflake set diamond with two celtic crosses of either side the band has the same design – the rock when looking for his bans i found several bolder older style ring design that would fit me better im a student planning on becoming an m.e. an the points on the ring sometimes strach me and get caught on things my mother in law says i have to wear the band he bought i just wanted outside opinoions

Just talk with your HTB. Explain why you want another band…not because he chose badly but because it’s impractical for your job. Explain that you love the ring and will wear it when you get a chance but need something else for working times.
Many people who have physical jobs like that choose to have two wedding rings. One is a “dress ring” for when you are just going out, then a simple stoneless band for working. There is no reason you can’t do the same in this situation. During the wedding he just slides both onto your finger so they have the same sentimental value as your “wedding ring”. During the reception wear the dressy band.
Just be understanding and delicate how you approach everything. Men’s egos can bruise so easily and lord knows how long he spend finding you such a unique piece.
