Design Wedding Ring Settings
Looking for wedding band, does anyone know about ring wraps?
My fiancé had my engagement ring made. The stone is a 1/2 carat heritage diamond (150-200 years old). The front of the stone is flat and square in shape. The band is white gold, and the crown was custom made to hold the stone (because of it’s unusual shape). We are getting married in September and need to get our wedding bands soon. I can’t find anything that I feel matches it very well. I like the look of “ring wraps” that I have seen, but all the ones I’ve seen are designed for round settings. We don’t have enough room left in our budget to have our wedding bands made… does anyone have any ideas? Thanks!
My ring is kind of an awkward shape as well and I had a hard time finding a wedding band that would go with it. I ended up getting one that’s like an eternity band but it dips down right where it would normally run into the diamond in my engagement ring. But many jewelers sell these kinds of rings. Mine didn’t have to be made, I just tried a bunch on with my engagement ring to see which one looked best. And it looks good without the engagement ring too.
