Non-Experimental research design?
Can someone provide me with an example of non-experimental research design in Psychology? I know that in itself it is research that lacks an independent variable which is useful when it is not ethical or possible to manipulate the IV but I need some perspective on this.
Something like influence of gender on a variable. Do females laugh more than men at romantic comedies? You can’t manipulate gender, so it’s not a true experiment. Same with age, race, number of siblings, ect. Make sense?
