Fashion Design Process Book
im thinking of applying to FIDM?
Im a junior in highschool, and recently i developed an intrest in fashion design. I built on that, and now i am in the process of compiling all my designs in a book or binder. and i want to start a portfolio that i can eventually use when i apply to FIDM. can anyone give me any advice on what to put into the portfolio? and im going to be making tons more designs, so can you tell me what kinds of materials i should buy? mostly i have been using sketch paper and colored pencils…i was thinking maybe watercolors or felt tip pens? any advice would be greatly appreciated!

a standard portfolio usually consists of 5 collections.(1 collection=8-10 dresses)
do buy watercolors and some sketches too,buy ribbons and all that stuff and get creative.
a portfolio is a paper form of ‘u’,'ur thoughts’ in form of clothes….
