With about 200 employees in the advertising company, I would assume there will be a lot of transfer of data among the departments and employees. Consider a list of possible computer applications that could operate over a LAN network and support employees and the daily operations of the business.
They will need to perform processing, word processing, graphic designs, spreedsheet operations and market analysis. What type of LAN network might be suggested? What would be the topology? The medium access control method? What kind of support equipment (hubs, servers) mightbe needed? Where would that support equipment be located?

In this senario; it is better to manage centrally all your computer and users. for this i advise you to implement “Client Server” networking.
Get one fast performing and larg storage Computer and install the “Mocrosoft Windows Server 2003″ and in rest all 200 computers install “Microsoft Windows Xp”
Join all 200 PCs to the “Microsoft Windows Server 2003″ domain.
Now you are able assign policies and rights, to all users and computers from the server.
