Is this safe? As long as I pay him after the work is done and he sends me the work, I should be all set, correct?

Sure… as long as he delivers the goods as promised and you are happy with the work.
Because if you are not…. you are out of luck.
Paying somebody thru Western Union can not be reversed.
You send the money to his nearest Western Union Pick Up place, he picks up the cash and walks away. You can’t get it back thru Western Union if you aren’t happy with the work.
Find a more secure way of paying this guy for his services.
One that doesn’t leave you hanging if you have issues with the quality of the work.
