Winchester celebrates 50 years of Vinson-Owen School building before demolition
Staff, students, alumni and parents who have occupied the Vinson-Owen Elementary School building for the past five decades came to say goodbye June 17 during the Vinson-Owen Forever party. Students painted messages on the windows and walls of the hallways, leaving their last, colorful marks on the building set for demolition this fall in preparation for a building nearly double its footprint.
