In smaller bedrooms, you have to give up one thing in order to get another. If you want a large bed, you have to settle for a tiny computer desk. If you need a large work area, you have to make do with a smaller bed. In many new homes, compromises like these are things of the past.
Furniture designers have come up with novel solutions to the needs of children as well. When the time comes for your child to have a computer in his room, you can get him a loft bed. Children love them even more than sleigh beds and they are the perfect answer to limited space. You can slip a desk and computer under the bed and not lose any floor space in the room.
