Interior Design Related Jobs

What job is related to “Design”?
fashion design? interior design? web design? More categories, more detailed sub categories please?
Thank you
Designer now days can do lots of different jobs.
Besides the obvious ones, some of which you, and others have mentioned, studying design can lead to teaching at art and design school, consultancy, curatorship at design exhibitions, journalism- writing about design, becoming a buyer for design led stores and even becoming a creative director.
Having said that, all these career paths will take time to build (that’s the nature of any career, I suppose)
It is true that a lot of hard technical work goes into most design related fields, but trust me, I know designers who aren’t software savvy and they still manage to produce good work.
If you’re creative and passionate about design, decide which path is best for you and go for it!
Graphic design is mostly computer work.
Textile design is some hands on (screen printing etc) and some computer.
Industrial/Product design (including furniture design) is a lot of research work, a lot of computer work then workshop- hands on producing the product.
Interior design also involves computer work and technical knowledge, but the interior decorating part is more fun hands on matching colours etc etc.
Ceramic design is a lot of hands on work.
Jewellery design and silversmithing- also hands on.
Fashion design is a lot of hands on work- drawing, measuring, cutting, sawing and producing the garments. Landscape design- some computer work and a lot of hands on gardening work.
