Japanese Notan Design Square
Research Paper?
I will be assigned a research paper soon, it will be about Japanese Notan. Someone have given me some info but it wasn’t suffcient, but well accepted. The information she gave me all say the same thing. So I know that Notan means dark and light, the principle of Notan as it relates to design is the intersection between positive and negative, is expansion of square. But I need to know WHO created Notan, WHY they created it, and WHEN it was created. I can use phone numbers, books and magazines. I spent four hours at the library and got the info that i noted earlier. My instructor told the class that it will be difficult. Can anyone help? For those that can help, THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
