Have you noticed that when it comes to people and their homes…?

That a lot of them seem to have the same sense of “style”? I’ve just been checking the properties that are for sale in my area and was amazed that the vast majority of them have the same things and same room layout in their home. I was even more shocked to find that FOUR houses had the same wallpaper!! and THREE houses had the same kitchen design!!?? What’s happened to people expressing their indiviudality? surely people don’t just follow “what’s in” now do they? A friend of mine refers to them as the “Argos showhome” and I nearly fell of my seat laughing just thinking about that.

i’ve been noticing that for a while now, since my sister is studying architecture majoring interior designing. seeing lots of her magazines of interior designing, looks like the “modern” look is very stylish these days. i on the other hand, is majoring art, fashion designing, its totally about being yourself. style is very important. but for them, whatever thats functional and modern is important. plus, i have a few friends who work with the coorperates and they all tend to have similar lifestyles, similar tastes, especially picking the similar types of furniture. sounds to me like they are just being influence by the majority of the same type of ppl. the influence was that, “your thought’s not important, whats important is that u fit in with us and we’ll keep u in the company.”

am i being too mean?
