I have all white cabinets, painted kitchen “Afterglow”(sherwin williams)and have a tan/carmel/yellow toned tile. You are able to see the living room through the kitchen. The furniture is yellow! yes it is modern style scan design very contemporary style. I am trying to go for a southwestern look but may be selling my house in the future. I DO NOT want black granite. Every time I see white cabinets I see black granite. I don’t like dark solid granite. I need help! Somebody please give me some advice. I want it to be cozy but sharp and modern at the same time!
As in green granite or marble or slate or one of the other ones.
It quite hard with out actually seeing your kitchen, but this might provide the contrast you want without going black. And green counter tops come in all shades, from white with streaks of green to dark solid green, and of course in all price ranges. It might be worth a look.
Only one other comment, always look at a real sample of the color. Don’t rely on the internet. The colors often differ dramatically from the online appearance.
