There is no monitor cord nor a keyboard cord. In fact, if the battery is charged on the laptop you can operate with no cords at all. If you are working at home; however, you should use the one power cord to keep your battery charged for when you are using your laptop on the fly.
If you choose to use your laptop in the car, there are power adapters that can keep the battery charged by plugging into the cigarette lighter. Just be sure that you pull over before logging on.
Another accessory that you will want to have available is a WiFi enabled printer. The printer allows you to print documents from your laptop without ever having to connect a USB cord. This makes use of the laptop even easier.
