Pile Foundation Design Capacity

pile foundation design capacity
What diameter of RC pile should i use?

I am currently designing for a pile foundation, can anybody suggest me for what diameter of pile should i use to resist load around 3000kN and i want to make it a 4 pile group, it will be much appreciated if any1 can share any reference. And is there any list on load capacity versus the diameter of RC pile?

Thank you

I will try to guide you in the design of the pile , first you divide the total load of 3000kN by 4(# of piles) that gives you 750kN per pile.
Divide the 750kN by the allowable concrete stresses , which gives you the area of pile.
Find the suitable diameter which satisfies the pile surface area, from experience the diameter will be around 1.2 M.
This is off course ignoring the friction force from soil to the pile surface area, which is in this case is the worst case scenario
