Tattoo Designs That Make You Go Wow

Everybody love tattoos, well your father may not want you to get one at all, but the rest of us totally dig ‘em, lol. They are popping up all over the place, TV, movies, books, you name the media and you’ll be able to find someone talking about tattoos on it. But as always the hardest part is choosing which tattoo designs is the right one for you. There are so many out there how can you possibly choose just one?

Which Tattoo Design

So lets start at the beginning, which tattoo design should you get? Now try not to feel too overwhelmed with the fantastic array of tattoo designs on offer, and just get excited about having so many to choose from. And as with most decisions that are going to have a life long effect, the tattoo design you choose is something you are going to have to live with for the rest of your life, so do take the time to pick the right one for you.

Spend The Time On Planning

Obviously the best place to look at all the different tats is the place you are now, the world wide web, but when you really get into it, you can’t remember which tattoo designs you look at yesterday, let alone ones from an hour ago. So a good idea is to save your favorite ones on your PC, then you can go over your short list quickly and cull them down to a handful of ones you would actually consider getting inked with.

Your tattoo artist is your best friend when it comes to making sure you get the right tat, one that is uniquely yours, and something that you are going to love for the rest of your days. One of the biggest things a tattoo artist is able to do for you, other than the obvious, it to help you create some new ink that is unique to you. Be open to the ideas they give you on design elements and other design options, as they have the same objective as you – a tattoo that you are happy with for the rest of your life.

Tattoo Placement

So now you need to find out where to stick it, in some cases the placement of your new tattoo design can have a bigger bearing on your long term happiness than the design itself. As an example putting a sexy little flower tattoo, that would look good on your wrist, would probably get lost if you got it done in the middle of your back.

As with the design itself, spend the time discussing with your artist where you would like the tattoo, and be open to any suggestions on alternate placement. Although your flexibly on placement will have a lot to do with why you are getting the tat done in the first place. Are you getting the tattoo because you specifically want a shoulder tattoo designs? Or are you getting it in memory of someone or to mark an important experience or period in your life?

If the design itself is secondary and where you want it is the biggest reason in choosing your new tattoo, then your artist will be able to give you some valuable tips on what is going to look the best for you, based on your sex and personality and where you want to get the tattoo done on your body. Something you can do to have a bit of fun with the tats before you get it done, is print out a few designs, stick them on various parts of your body and get a friend to take a few quick pics, this should give you some idea of what they should look like once done.

There is it tattoo designs, and what you need to think about when getting one.
