I’m considering between colleges, which ones would be better?

I want to go into Graphics Design, or if I change my mind, I’ve been studying Journalism(Another area of interest) as a fallback plan.

I’ve always been interested in writing, and although I’m better at other things, I want to enoy my work. I believe that a more writing/artistic career would be more of my liking.

So far, I’ve been getting mail from colleges, the whole, “We’re interested in you!” stuff, and I got one from Vanderbilt. My dad said it’s a very good university, but I’m not too sure of what things it offers. Are there other (universities preferred) colleges that are more writing-centered?

My dream job is to either become a sucessful novelist, work at high-end papers like Wall Street Journal/Washington Post etc., or to work as a storyboard writer for video games or for companies like Dreamworks or Pixar.

I’m pretty busy now, because I’ve wanted to keep my options open, but are there colleges or universities that can cater to this career choosing?

i can’t say much about which school to pick, but what i say is double major in graphic design and journalism (with some study in digital broadcasting) because it will look really good. i’ve worked for newspapers and if you can work the tech side they’ll want you!
